Dear Payne County Democrats,

I am thrilled to provide you with the latest updates and important information about our organization. It's been just a couple of weeks since our last meeting, and we have some exciting news to share with you.

First and foremost, I want to express our gratitude to all those who attended our last meeting, which took place on May 11. Your presence and active participation made it a truly successful event. Now, I invite you to mark your calendars for our upcoming meeting next Thursday, June 8. Join us for an evening of lively conversation, delicious refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with fellow Democrats. The meeting will be hosted at Bliss Books and Bindery as usual and we look forward to seeing you there!

In addition to our meeting, I'd like to draw your attention to the State Convention, happening this weekend in Tulsa. It's a momentous occasion where Democrats from across the state will come together to engage in meaningful discussions, share ideas, and unite for progress. I encourage all our members to attend and proudly represent the Payne County Democrats at this significant event. Read on for more information regarding State Convention.

As the Chairman of the Payne County Democrats, I am committed to making our organization a source of pride for each and every one of you. However, I cannot accomplish this without your support. We have set a target of at least $500 in monthly recurring donations to help us enhance our communication efforts, increase event attendance, and provide valuable networking opportunities, social events, and even food and refreshments during our meetings. Your contributions will directly contribute to enhancing your membership experience.

Can I count on your help to achieve this goal? Whether you can donate a substantial amount or a few dollars each month, your contribution will make a meaningful impact. Please click the button below to make your monthly donation. If you have any alternative methods or preferences for donating, please respond to this email and let me know. I highly value your feedback and want to accommodate your preferences to the best of our abilities.

Thank you for your unwavering support! I eagerly look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meeting and witnessing the positive changes we can bring about together as the Payne County Democrats.

Warm regards,

Chairman Justin Worley

Committee Work

With the formation of committees, we are already witnessing changes and proposals aimed at making our county party a well-oiled machine. The following committees provided reports:

Communications Committee: Chaired by Roy Degler, the committee has made proposals to upgrade our various communication technologies and services. Upgrades have already been implemented for our email service and Google Workspace. Additionally, the committee is actively working on finding a permanent home for our website.

Outreach Committee: Chaired by Florence Degler, this committee has yet to meet. However, they encourage members to submit event proposals through the provided form or email. While they cannot guarantee the selection of all events, they assure members that every proposal will be carefully considered.

Budget Committee: Chaired by Pat Mullins, this committee has not held a meeting, but they plan to do so before our next gathering to present a budget for the organization. Committee members are advised to stay vigilant for any forthcoming dates or information regarding this meeting.

Political Affairs Committee: Chaired by Samuel Cypert, this committee has compiled a comprehensive list of bills that were addressed during the recent legislative session in Oklahoma City. They urge all members to keep Sam informed about any updates pertaining to the legislature or national politics that may impact our county.
