Biannually, the Oklahoma Democratic Party holds conventions from the local level all the way to the state level. During these meetings, officers are elected, party resolutions are crafted, and the vision is set for the next two years. There are four conventions held in every odd year.
Precinct Meetings are where we elect precinct officers, the neighborhood level Democrats who engage their neighbors and friends in the party. These meetings are held across the county.
County Convention is where we elect PCD Officers, delegates, and put together our resolutions to take to Congressional District Three Convention. This is held at PCD HQ.
Congressional District Three Convention (colloquially known as “CD3”) is where we elect the officers and delegates who represent the county parties across Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District throughout the year during state-party Central Committee Meetings.
The Oklahoma Democratic Party State Convention is a gathering of the officers and delegates of every county party across the state. At this meeting, we hear updates on the state of the party, elect state officers, and affirm the resolutions of the OK Democrats. This is a two-day event.
