Sam Cypert

Sam Cypert was elected as Affirmative Action Officer for the Payne County Democrats in Spring 2023. In this role, he will oversee the development and expansion of relationships among marginalized communities and voters who have not been historically civically engaged. In this role, he serves as Chair of the Political Affairs Committee and serves as a member of the Communications, Diamond Donkey, and Outreach committees. 

Sam graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration concentrating in Business Law and a Minor in Marketing. While working full-time and earning his undergraduate degree, Sam was able to assist with the implementation of the Pre-Law Society on UCO's campus to help connect students with attorneys, state legislators, public activists, and law schools.

Sam is native to Oklahoma and relocated to Stillwater in 2019. In his free time, Sam enjoys reading, volunteering, traveling, and visiting family.
