State Rep. Cory Williams, D-Stillwater- Dist. 34, is scheduled to make a guest appearance “legislative rap” at the monthly meeting in the Payne County Democratic Headquarters at 302 North Main on Thursday, June 9th at 7pm. It promises to be a very lively presentation of interest to any Oklahoman since Rep. Williams will be updating everyone on the recent legislative session of 2011 which has just ended.
The spectrum of bills passed as well as those which were proposed and failed covers a huge landscape concerning what happens to our state in the future. Rep. Williams was in the middle of many of these discussions, debates and votes.
His perspective and summaries are usually illuminating in these presentations concerning what bills actually will do to change the lives of the average Oklahoman and especially how they will affect the citizens of Payne County.
This is the regular monthly meeting of The Payne County Democrats but all members of the public are welcome.
