A Socially Active Gathering on Friday, Nov. 5th

Don’t miss our first post-election social gathering Friday Nov. 5th from 5-7 p.m. at headquarters, 302 S. Main in Stillwater.

  • Bring some drinks and or finger food to share with your fellow PCDs.
  • The place will hopping with people wanting to vent, share their feelings and or funny lines about the election.
  • Come put your stories on the “CRYING WALL”! Trish is fixing a place for all to share with others about how they feel. Here is one to get you primed for Friday night. “Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”
  • PLEASE help collect all of the campaign signs and bring them to headquarters to be recycled. Cory Williams would appreciate your help with his signs which he wants to save and put in storage. So please when you see a sign, stop and pick it up, then bring them to headquarters. We as Democrats know the importance of recycling.

Also, it’s almost time for our monthly meeting next Thursday November 11 from 7-9 p.m. Feel free to come a little early and meet our great speaker, Rev. Dr. Gary Peluso-Verdend who will be talking about the separation of church and state.

Dr. Peluso-Verdend is the President of Phillips Seminary in Tulsa. He and his wife are incredible people who are feeling the frustrations that everyone one of us are from the election turnout. We would really appreciate you inviting any of your church friends and family to join us if you feel they might be interested. There will be light refreshments prior to the meeting.
